Odds/Ends

Other than the zoo we didn't have any major outings this week. But with these babies, no day is boring or quiet, or without plenty of fun photo-opps!

Emma has become a little imitator. After dinner, her Daddy was sitting with his arms folded across his chest, and then we noticed Emma doing the same thing. We all laughed out loud! Sometimes, Connell will stand beside Tim and do whatever his Daddy does. Little cuties, they want to be just like him!
This little girl is into everything.
See what I mean? Our son LOVES to clean. He has worn out 2 shark sweepers since he began walking. So when the second one died a few weeks ago, he was bummed. Me too. For several nights in a row, during bedtime prayers, he asked Jesus for a new sweeper. It was so sweet and obviously very funny! Grandpa made arrangements to have a shiny new sweeper shipped to us this week! A happy mama and a happy Connell! And an answered prayer! :)

All smiles at bedtime
We have a routine we follow every night. After bathtime, we sit together and read one of Emma's books. Then she goes to bed and Connell gets to pick a book and we read in his bed.

I got a girls nite out this week. Amen.
I know that it's not that healthy, but Connell has always LOVED our lunch dates at Target. Looks like his sister is following in his footsteps. :)
Before I finish, look at Connell sweeping. He was about 16 months old.
