Trip to Olive Branch and FISHIES!!!

Immediately after the trunk or treat, me and the kids headed to Olive Branch for the weekend and Tim headed to Knoxville for a "boys" weekend. This was my first time traveling with both of them by myself. It went well, it's just challenging when you have to change the dvd, find cups and hand them back to the thrower, etc. Overall - success. We didn't even have to stop officially...I only had to pull over twice to "fetch" something.
As usual, our weekend was VERY full. I managed to squeeze a lot in, but as a result we were all completely exhausted by the time we got home Sunday evening.
On our way in to town Friday, we stopped by Grandpa & Grandma's offices to say hello. I only had my camera at Dad's office. We have the same sweet pic of little Connell in the big chair. Emma made herself at home and Connell was fascinated with the copy machine.
Saturday morning was perfect for Connell's first fishing experience. Grandpa bought him a fishing rod and they were ready to go.

Little fisherman And another! The 3rd and biggest! Gus came over to visit! He and Emma were so sweet together. He is about 3 months older than Emma.

Clean and ready for bed In addition to all of our family time, Friday evening I got to have dinner with 2 of my bffs from high school. It was so much fun! I am so upset we didn't take a picture of the 3 of us, but here is a cute pic of Amy's daughter Allie holding Emma.

ALSO, and one of the main reasons for my trip, to see Rachel and meet sweet baby Preston! Here he is, all snuggled up with me! He liked me! He was 3 weeks old here. We took the Millers some dinner. It wasn't homemade :) but we brought GIGIs cupcakes so that makes it all good, right?!!! :) Love the Miller family! You can read more about their sweet family and precious baby Preston here .

And lastly, here is Emma, possibly getting into mischief when we should be in church with everyone else ;)

MOPS Trunk or Treat

This is the second year for our MOPS Trunk or Treat event. I was in charge of coordinating it this year and was so excited that we had fabulous weather and a great turnout!

Our little strawberry! trying to get them to cooperate!~ one cooperates...one doesn't... I love this little chef!

Daddy took the morning off so he could trunk or treat with us.
Me, Rebecca & Sandy (& little Sarah)
Two years ago I was a caregroup leader in MOPS and these girls were both in my group & they were new to MOPS. I am so glad that we were placed together as we've grown to be great friends! :)

Carefully selecting treats!

Clayton (Rebecca's son) & Connell excited about BUBBLES!
You know how nostalgic I am...here are 2 pics from last year's trunk or treat....like I said before, GROWING TOO FAST!

Growing Up Too Fast!

I am sure every parent thinks their babies grow up too fast...but it's sooooooo true!

Emma likes to use everything as a purse! Such a girly girl! ;)

Just picked up her first year panel this week...proof that she really is growing so fast! I can't believe she is almost 14 months old.

Murder Mystery Dinner

The Jacobs hosted us for a Murder Mystery Dinner Saturday night...it was so much fun! Many thanks to them for all of the work/organizing! We had lots of laughs and lots of yummy food. I was exhausted by that time, after the race and the pumpkin patch...how much can we SQUEEZE into one day??!! :) Thankfully Grandma and Grandpa were here to babysit so Tim and I could have some "grown-up" time to "reunite" with our friends at the James D Murder High School Reunion! ha!

Tim and Shannon's "bloody" creation!
Tim was the class president - hehe!

Of course, I needed to throw in a few pictures of the spoiling that takes place...so excited to see Grandma (& grandpa too :)

After the race and donuts :) we headed to the pumpkin patch! I took a ton of pictures (of course) but here are some of my favorites... Loads of Sweet Potatoes!
