"It's All Cold!"

That's what Connell had to say while we were playing in the biggest snow we've seen in a LONG time. We got between 3-4 inches and it made for some fun snow times!

Connell's first sledding experience! Our neighbors let us use their sled. Grandma & Grandpa are going to bring us the sled we used as kids so the next time it snows, we are ready. Hope we don't have to wait another 10 years...

Oh what fun!
Connell ate ALOT of snow!
Sweet snowbabies!

Our snowman now has no face...Connell ate the grapes!

Exersaucer Fun!

The Lee's had borrowed our Baby Einstein Exercauser for Alana. Well, since she has clearly outgrown it, and Emma is ready to enjoy it, they brought it back with them when they came. Emma is LOVING it! I thought she might be a few weeks away from being ready, but she is perfect! And guess who else is back in the exersaucer? I am quite sure there is a weight limit on it, and I am quite sure a certain toddler exceeds that limit. But what can ya do???!!! Oh, be sure to check out the video at the bottom...she is such a happy baby girl!!!!

Weekend Visit

Our friends, the Lee family, came to spend the weekend with us. Their sweet daughter is about 18 months old, and she is such a cutie. The weather was nice enough Saturday to get some outside playtime and I got some great pictures at the playground.

Story Time

We have a nighttime routine around our house, and since Connell's birth, it has included reading books. Emma seems to be enjoying the routine too! It's such a sweet time for our family...

Connell's fave book at the moment! Thanks Great Aunt Kathy and Great Uncle Doug!

Mini-Tim!

Connell took this picture with my little camera...I love it! I guess Emma really does look just like her Daddy. I wouldn't have it any other way. She did get long fingers and long toes from me though!!! :)

Chik a Way

Monday it was supposed to be sunny and upper 50s, so we planned a trip to the playground with our friends. Well, it wasn't sunny and it wasn't upper 50s, so we moved our fun to Chik Fil A instead. 3 Mommies - 7 kids. Luckily 2 are still not mobile! :) The kids played great and the mommies enjoyed adult talk!

Mommy & Emma

There is a window of time every afternoon when Connell is napping and Emma is awake. Right now, that is how the schedule falls. I love it, because it's really my only one-on-one time with Emma. Obviously, it's different with the second child. When Connell was a baby, he was it! All my attention, all the time! I am learning to search out and cherish such moments with Emma. This day, I decided to take some pics! We are working on our self-portrait skills, until Connell can be trusted with the camera! ha!

Emma's Baptism

Emma Kathryn was baptized on Sunday, January 10. It was a beautiful service, made even more special by the fact that we were surrounded by so many of our family and dear friends. We were excited that mass that Sunday was centered on the scriptures concerning the baptism of Jesus...we didn't know that when we picked the date...seemed to make the day truly perfect.
I am making a slideshow of all the pics from church and our celebration, but wanted to also just post the photos that captured the spirit of the day. **Special note of thanks to Amber...who was informed the morning of the baptism that she would be the photographer for the event! She did awesome! :)

Introducing Emma to the church with the Godparents. note:my brother is the actual Godfather! Due to the weather, he couldn't make it. Kelly did a great job as the sub! Kiss from big brother

Emma didn't even cry...

200th post!!!

Not too bad!!! I have enjoyed blogging so much more than I anticipated! Hope you all enjoy it as well. Here are some pictures of my sweeties having some fun playtime together. I love these babies!!!!

Most of you know, Connell is a hair twirler. Here he is trying to twirl Emma's hair. She seems to think it's funny since she really doesn't have any. ;)
