Chandler's 4th Birthday

We had a great weekend in Asheville celebrating Chandler's 4th birthday. It's hard to believe our baby boys are already 4!

Grandma & Grandpa surprised Chandler with a bike! excited!
We visited a park for some playtime. The weather was perfect, not too hot!

Happy Birthday to you!

many attempts to get them all to look...it didn't happen. Still sweet!
Chandler's birthday circle. Very special time to talk about what Chandler has been like for each year so far :-)

We took a trolley tour of Asheville Sunday before we headed home. Beautiful city with lots of interesting history. Tim and I have decided we would love to go for an "adult only" trip. ;-)

Fun at the fountain

The kids were kind enough :) to run some errands with me, so I told them if they were good, we would go play in the water. They complied. This is our first visit to the fountains this summer. It was really Emma's first time to play in them since last summer she wasn't walking yet. She was a little unsure at first, but was soon having a blast with her brother.

Father's Day Weekend

We were so happy to be home for the weekend. We've traveled so much lately, it's just nice to be home sweet home! Saturday night we had the Mitchell's over for a cookout. After dinner, we took to the street with all the kids and their bikes. They had a lot of fun together! The fun got even better when we tried a new recipe for dessert and it scored RAVE reviews!

The only way to get them to sit still! DESSERT!

Happy Father's Day to our wonderful Daddy! You are hard-working, fun, loving and so so good to us! We love you very much and hope you have a great day! Happy Father's Day to Grandpa and Papa, too!

Here I go again

I am not sure why exactly I am having such a hard time keeping up with my blog. It seems like I just get away from it for a little bit, and then it becomes a month and I just feel so far behind, I don't know where to begin. I've made a list of a BUNCH of posts I need to do and I am really going to try to get "current!" Here goes. You know the drill. Make sure you scroll down because I will be back-dating my posts.

Weekend in OB

We traveled to Olive Branch for the weekend because I was giving my future sister-in-law a bridal shower in Memphis on Sunday (separate post for those photos). On Saturday, Tim and his dad golfed so Grandma and Grandpa took me and the kiddies to the Y to go swimming. It was awesome for the kids because it's a zero entry pool. So fun for them and so much less stressful for me! Connell went down the big curvy slides several times (no pic) and Emma got very brave and ventured into the water like a big girl!

look at those legs! :)
love this one of E and Grandma

After a nap, we headed to one of our favorite spots in Memphis, Cafe Ole. Tim and I hung out here ALL THE TIME in college...when we weren't studying ;-) It was delicious and so much fun...the picture isn't great, but you get the idea!
For some reason, Connell woke up at the crack of dawn while we were there.
Lucky for me, Dad is an early riser and he and Connell had lots accomplished by the time the rest of us woke up. Connell woke Grandma up at about 730 by going into her bed and saying "hi Grandma, it's me, Connell!"
