Nine Months Old

We had a busy, fun 9th month, Emma!

You went to Memphis and the beach and were a trooper all the time!!!

During May, you got 3 new teeth on top, so that's a total of 5 teeth now. You pull up to standing all the time now, and you are getting a little too brave because you try to do TOO MUCH and have bumped your head one too many times lately. But you are amazingly tough, and shake off "booboos" rather quickly. You are all about eating...baby food, cheerios, puffs, crackers...whatever!

You wave alot, and it's so cute. You are very ticklish and you have a laugh that makes everyone around you smile. I can't remember if I have mentioned this before, but you LOVE to play in Connell's room. You are so into all of his toys, and basically, whatever he is doing.

During our trip to the beach, you began saying "DaDa!" This made Daddy's week! I think you must have been excited that he was with us for a whole week.

I took you for your nine month well-child visit at the beginning of June. This was an easy visit...no shots, etc. You weigh 18.9 pounds and are 28 inches long. (gained 2 pounds and grew 2 inches in 3 months - WOW!) You weigh exactly what your brother weighed at his nine month checkup.
We love you so much, sweet girl!

While it's so amazing to watch you grow, it's going by so fast that it's making me a little sad...or I should say it's bittersweet. Just want to hold on to my baby girl a little longer...but you are growing right before our eyes. :)
