Celebrating Daddy!

After the busy week, we wanted just a low-key family weekend. Saturday, we went to lunch in Nashville at a place called Cantina Laredo. We had heard many good things and had to check it out...since we are huge fans of mexican food! It was fresh and delicious and the kids were perfect! Yay! We are lucky in that both of our kids (SO FAR) behave pretty well at restaurants. It could be because we go out to eat too much so they are just used to it. :)

Saturday night we stayed home, had pizza and movie night and watched Finding Nemo. Connell loved it and we are looking forward to more family movie nights.
Sunday we went to church (again, kids were great!) and then breakfast at the Cracker Barrel. We have been out of town so much lately, we have missed so many Sundays at our church. It was very nice to be there. As we were leaving, a lady sitting near us told me repeatedly that our children are adorable and behaved awesome at church. This mommy felt so proud.
We swam at our neighbor's pool for quite a while Sunday afternoon. Uncle Kelly came over too and he hung out with us and watched the US Open with Tim. I only watch golf if I can lay down and nap. Golf makes great background noise for napping. ;)

I know it's Father's Day and I should be pampering my man, but my husband insisted he wanted to grill ribs. We had the best tasting ribs ever. They are called Dr. Pepper ribs and are totally amazing! He made them for me for Mother's Day. Wonder what the next occasion for Dr. Pepper ribs will be?! Daddy - we love you so much and can't tell you enough how much we appreciate all that you do for our family! You keep us laughing all the time and you love us so well!!! We hope you enjoyed your special day (weekend)!
We also wish Grandpa and Papa a Happy Father's Day! We love you!
Oh, and make sure to check out the video from our pooltime Sunday...my guys!
