Enjoying Fall at the Zoo
Tim has recently had some time off from work (that's a separate post entirely) and we are making the most of this opportunity for quality family time. We watched the forecast and decided Wednesday would be the best day to make a trip to the zoo. It was a pretty day and we had a blast! It's so neat to watch Connell's interest grow each time we go to the zoo. And as long as we keep a steady stream of snacks handy, he has no problem riding in the stroller to take in the sights. He is loving riding in the new double stroller with Emma. But let me add, WOWzers! That is a workout! Connell (33 lbs), Emma (11ish lbs) and the stroller (@35 lbs) - Tim and I were both worn out! We are looking forward to many more trips to the zoo and can't wait for Emma to enjoy it as much as her big brother.

What a fun day! I love Connell's serious look. Emma looks sweet sleeping all cuddled up in her stroller. The weather looked great - if rain hits you in the next day or so, it's probably from Dallas. Love you!
