11/13 - 11/19 Weekend/week Catch up *

Grandma & Grandpa came for a visit this weekend. It was a low-key, playtime kinda weekend. We also tried a new (new to us) restaurant nearby and it was awesome! Yummy, fresh italian food! Can't wait to go back! We pulled out the tent that santa brought last year. Connell spent alot of time in the tent with Grandma reading books/twirling hair! (for those that don't know, Connell is a thumb-sucker and likes to twirl hair at the same time. He is probably getting too big for this, but it's cute and I am too tired to worry about it currently ;) )

Our Week 11/7 - 11/12 *catch up*

Here are miscellaneous pics from our week!

Emma loooooooves purses and bags. She might get that from her mother. ;) This purse is almost bigger than she is, and here she is proudly toting it around while we were getting ready for church Sunday morning.

We had a day this week with really pleasant, warm weather, so we headed outside for a

"picnic" of sorts.

Sweetness beyond words.

(but let me explain...we were in Tim's car b/c my truck was in the shop. In the truck, they can't reach eachother, which is a good thing. But this morning, on the way to the pediatrician for their flu shots, I snapped this at a red light...I am glad I carry my little sony camera in my bag at all times. This is the reason.)

After flu shots, we dropped Connell off at school and Emma and I did errands. Connell had taken his favorite buddy, turtle, along this morning and left him in the car. Emma kept turtle company in his absence. ssshhhh, don't tell Connell.

There in a nutshell, is our week. Nothing major, but everyday is a blessing whether it's filled with big events or little moments that make it perfect!!!

Fall Fun

I am not sure how fun it was, but the leaves sure were pretty!
Trying to get Connell & Emma to cooperate is so interesting. In the end, I think I ended up with a few good ones.

Maybe we'll try playing in the "leabes" again one day soon!

These Shoes...

...are made for RUNNING!!!!!

So, first I ran the 5k, then I got new shoes! Should have maybe reversed that order. Oh well. Took a ride to Fleet Feet last Friday and actually got fitted for some great shoes! I am sad to say I have only tried them once since then :( but they were awesome! I think they will make a big difference...now, just to find time (MAKE TIME) for a little more running??!!

Here are the highlights from our fun and fabulous Halloween celebration!!!

I think they turned out quite well! My first time to do fancy icing...very basic! Mummy Dogs and a spider web :) BIG hit with the kids and the dads! We had some friends join us for trick or treating!Connell, Lauryn, Jackson, Chloe, Ashlyn, Ian and Emma (with her Daddy) Trick or Treat! Sweet Strawberry!
