Merry Christmas, again...

Thanks for stopping by our blog today. I have a story I'd like to share!

I am going to back up a month, to Christmas Eve in the O'Leary household. Tim & I had agreed not to buy eachother anything for Christmas this year. However, when I got up on Christmas Eve morning, my stocking had fallen, and clearly there was something in it. I quickly told Tim he broke the rules since we weren't exchanging gifts. He assured me it was just something little and that he did NOT blow our budget. :) I felt bad, because I really had nothing at all to put in his stocking, and thought I'd have to run out on this cold, rainy morning and get a sleeve of golf balls. How original! Anyway, this is what was in my stocking...
Super cute! Tim got this from one of the my MOPS friends. She makes very cute gifts, for a very reasonable price! Let me know if you want her name!

The rest of the day was very busy for us...my Mom & Dad arrived around lunchtime, we were preparing food, and attending the Christmas Eve service at church. We had a wonderful day preparing to celebrate the birth of Jesus, and all day, I was keeping a secret! Amazing. I am great at keeping secrets for other people. Not so much for myself. :)

So at almost midnite after everyone else was in bed, I told Tim that there was something in his stocking. This is what he found...

Sorry for the pics but I have to relay the true excitement...and you can never take just ONE test! :)

We are so excited to be expecting a baby brother or sister for Connell! And this little bit of news just made the beautiful season of Christmas even more wonderful for us and our families. We were able to share the news with the Grandparents on Christmas morning! This Christmas, we were celebrating 'gifts' with a very different meaning.

I am now about 8.5 weeks along. Tim went with me this morning for an ultrasound. We got to see our little baby, and see and hear 'its' heartbeat. Truly amazing! Here is a pic (our baby is a little bigger than a raspberry)!

Please join us in praying for our baby and for a safe, healthy pregnancy. I had it pretty easy when I was pregnant with Connell, so here's hoping! I am feeling pretty well so far aside from just being tired and queasy. Of course, I'll keep you posted on the blog. Thank you for sharing our excitement and for praying for our growing family!

**I should add....my due date is 9/3. It's gonna be a long, hot summer!
