Vital stats: At his 12 month checkup (5/1/08) he weighed 22 lbs and is almost 30 inches tall. Connell also now has 6 teeth! This picture was taken right before we headed out the door to the doctor.
Favorite foods: cheese quesadillas, yogurt, cheerios. He will still take just about any variety of 'baby' food we offer, but we are trying more table foods each day.
Favorite movie/songs: The Veggie Tales Ultimate Silly Songs. He also likes this R&B song that comes on the radio too much - "Please Don't Stop the Music" - he does his little dance to this one!
Favorite Toy: Loves all books! Even likes to eat them occasionally :) Now that he's walking, he loves to push his wooden clacker toy and his lawnmower.
Dislikes: Mommy's singing. i.e. I was trying to keep him awake in the car today so we could make it home for a nap, and Led Zeppelin was on the radio, so I was singing! He kept shaking his head 'NO' and it was soooo funny! Although he was smiling the whole time...I know I can't carry a tune, but hey, he stayed awake!
Especially enjoys: Walking everywhere and climbing up the stairs (and smiling and laughing at me when I tell him not to!)
Words: Lots of mama, dada, baby. Although, he pointed at a complete stranger at Chik Fil A the other day, an older man, and said "MAMA". So I don't feel that special!
And last but not least, Connell likes to sleep! Yea! So does his Mommy and Daddy. He is going to bed around 8-8:30 and waking between 6:30 and 7 and still takes 2 good naps during the day. :)
