Go Yankees!

Connell is pumped for the playoffs! My Mom and Dad recently took a trip to the BIG APPLE and brought Connell this tshirt! Tim and I can't wait to take Connell to a Yankees game someday!!! I snapped this picture really quick this morning before taking Connell to Mother's Day Out. He was excited to say "Go Yankees" to all his friends at school. :)

As Connell's Daddy says - "there is nothing better than October baseball." Well, except maybe this sweet boy!

Weekend Review! (a few days late)

Meme, Papa, Uncle Kelly, Uncle Patrick and Samantha came to visit us this past weekend. Since it was like winter outside, we were stuck indoors but had fun anyway! Friday night we went and had a wonderful dinner at Aunt Kristy's house. It was a great time! Saturday was football day - and unfortunately, Notre Dame didn't win, but that's okay. :) Isn't it???
We were celebrating Meme's birthday so we had a delicious dinner at home Saturday night followed by a yummy cake! Emma got lots of cuddling and Connell enjoyed "playing cars" will all his guests!

Just a few quick pictures of Emma in the bath...she is getting soooooo big! She started smiling this week, but right now, it's still tough to catch it on camera.

Nite-nite kisses!!!!

I Love MOPS!!!

I have blogged about my MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) group before, but I feel like I need to again. I have missed the first 2 meetings this year since MOPS began right after Emma was born. I am VERY excited to get back to meetings this month. It is a refreshing, inspirational time for me and I am missing it! Plus, I am ready to introduce Emma to all my sweet friends!

The MOPS Convention was held in Nashville a few weeks ago and alot of girls from our group attended. Jennifer posted this about convention, and I think it's worth sharing. I think on a few of these points, they were speaking DIRECTLY to me!

Also, let me just say how much of a blessing MOPS has been to me since I had Emma...we had meals brought to us almost the whole month of September by various friends/neighbors, many of them my wonderful friends from MOPS. I have gotten emails, phonecalls, notes, etc with love and encouragement from my MOPS friends. I am so blessed to be a part of this group!
